The Temples

The Dromos, which is a long processional street constructed using stone, was once used to connect the Karnak Temple and the Temple of Luxor.

Located at the temple’s main entrance is a statue of Ramses II and his son sitting at his feet.

You cannot visit Luxor, Egypt without going shopping. One of the best places to shop in the area is at Sharia al-Karnak, which has a very wide range of items that you can purchase. Additionally, there are several colorful bazaars and stores that sell a myriad of souvenirs and crafts that you can take back home. Two of the most popular items that are often purchased by tourists visiting the area are clay pots and alabaster.
