New Years Day Dive in Holland

If you are in Holland during New Years Day and looking for something crazy to do, put on your bikini or bathing suit and get your ass to Scheveningen. Here, each year thousands of people dive into the freezing North Sea. Temperatures can be below zero celcius these times of the year, so don’t expect to be in the water for a long time. Luckily you can get the famous dutch “erwtensoep” (pea soup) to warm up!
